Safety Day 2022

Safety Day is a full day educational and recognition event that celebrates Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) and Local Safety Team (LST) members from across the university.  Safety Day is an excellent opportunity to engage with your campus colleagues who sit on safety committees and teams just like you.

11:45am – 1:00pm: Lunch/Vendors (Lunch will be provided)

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Identifying and Responding to Warning Signs of Violence Risk in Higher Education – Kelly Watt

2:00pm – 2:30pm: Safety Tools and Training – Safety & Risk Services

2:30pm – 2:45pm: Break/Vendors

2:45pm – 3:30pm: Prizes / Closing Remarks from Safety & Risk Services and Vice Presidents

Safety Day 2022 is a free event for UBC Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC) and Local Safety Team (LST) members. You are required to register for this in-person event (zoom is not available). We are limiting registration to 250 so please register early to ensure you don’t miss Safety Day 2022.
