Worksite inspection by WSBC (risk of injury to workers from dangerous trees) – Malcolm Knapp Research Forest, Maple Ridge BC

This inspection report documents an order related to 3 trees partially suspended against the limbs and trunk of a large cedar tree. All of the trees are leaning towards a permanent road with occasional heavy truck traffic.

Order Rescinded by WSBC Review Board (multiple work sites for first aid – UBC Vancouver campus

Pursuant to the WorkSafeBC Review Division decision #R0239320, dated February 1, 2019, order #1 is rescinded.

Follow Up Inspection Report – Previous Order from WSBC (multiple work sites for first aid – notice of compliance extended pending WSBC Review Division decision) – UBC Vancouver campus

WorkSafeBC has determined that the UBC Vancouver Campus consists of multiple work locations. UBC must submit risks assessments and a first aid program based on various work locations. The compliance date has been extended to February 15, 2019 pending the Review Divisions decision on January 28, 2019.

This inspection report documents the receipt and acceptance of the employer’s full investigation report that relates to an incident which occurred on August 31, 2018 (Robert Ho Institute @ VGH).
